Two days. Up to 12 CEUs. The Virginia Association of Central Service (VACS) held their annual conference on Sept. 22nd and 23rd in Virginia Beach, VA with an education lineup and vendor exhibition that did not disappoint. The conference, titled ‘Critical Thinking Outside the Box’, brought in almost 100 attendees from area hospitals and surgical centers with the offering of up to 12 continuing education credits (CEUs) to be earned during the two days.

Max Jahraus, of Key Surgical, chatted with the attendees one-on-one as they checked out the Key Surgical booth during the vendor exhibition. Some of the most popular products among the group were our new product the Peel Pouch Sterilization Rack, for sterilization of peel pouched instruments, and our Twist Drill Rack used for managing K-wires and Steinmann pins.

Between the speakers, including past-IAHCSMM president Sharon Greene-Golden, and the diversity of the exhibitors, the energy during the conference was incredible! Key Surgical has been a proud supporter of the VACS conference and committee for years and look forward to many more to come!
